Building Bridges Together
"Every scar tells a story. We're just helping them find the pen."

🔥 For the youth who’ve been
overlooked
silenced
or labeled...
This is for you!!
For the girls & boys hiding pain behind humor
For the ones acting out because they’ve been let down too many times.
For the quiet ones.
The loud ones.
The ones holding it all in.
We see you We believe you And we’ve been there
🦋 What is Scars to Stars?
Scars to Stars is a trauma-informed healing circle and mentorship program for youth ages 11–17 who are navigating:
-
Emotional pain or grief
-
Household instability or chaos
-
School struggles and behavioral concerns
-
Identity challenges and self-worth wounds
-
Disconnection from family, peers, or themselves
Through safe connection, radical compassion, and creative expression, we help youth regulate, reframe, and rise.

🌈 This isn’t therapy. This is healing.
We use tools like:
✨ Journaling & Self-Expression
✨ Grounding & Breathwork
✨ Sister Circles & Healing Conversations
✨ Retreats in nature
✨ Art, music, movement & affirmations
✨ Mentorship from adults who get it because they’ve lived it

“From hiding to healing.
From surviving to speaking.”

🤝 Community Engagement Activities: Rooted in Real Life
Scars to Stars believes healing doesn’t only happen in therapy—it happens in everyday moments. That’s why we provide monthly Community Engagement Activities that blend fun, purpose, and wellness.
These events are open to youth and their caregivers, offering healthy ways to:
build relationships
regulate energy
and practice pro-social behavior in real-world settings.
Examples of Activities:
-
Fishing days with mentors to promote patience and presence
-
Yoga & painting in the park to channel emotion into creativity
-
Skateboarding meetups, game nights, and self-care circles
-
Volunteer projects that let youth give back while healing forward
These experiences allow youth to explore joy, build confidence, and create memories that support long-term wellness.
🤝 Who Can Refer a Youth?
Caseworkers · Parents · Guardians · Care Coordinators · Educators · School Counselors · Community Members
You don’t need a diagnosis—just a reason to believe youth deserves better.
💖 A Message for Parents & Caregivers:
We know you want what’s best for your youth.
Sometimes that means offering them what you didn’t get.
This isn’t about being perfect—it’s about being present and letting them grow in safety.
We’re here for your youth, and for you, too.
